It is a great decorating technique to match furniture and objects primarily by shape. Subduing the colors, using a simple theme, draws the eye to the object's line - rather than style. -I like how the monocromactic coloring strips the object's meaning - and lets it be seen differently. This curious little assemblage of furniture makes me feel happy. It is inviting conversation before you even sit down.
